🍴 Espresso Martini (their signature!) ✨ Chic, relaxed, sophisticated 🏆 Next-level cocktails in a chill, but classy setting

OMG, 'That Place' is THE spot! Last Saturday night, I brought my balikbayan cousin here, and she was super impressed. The cocktails are crafted to perfection – not just your typical mixers. The bartenders are super friendly too!

💡
Insider Tip

Here's a secret: ask for the bartender's recommendation based on your mood. They can whip up something off-menu that's seriously amazing. Also, go early (around 7-8 PM) to snag a good seat before it gets packed. The owner sometimes makes a special appearance!

The food is good, although some items are greasier than normal, the taste is OK. We've had the house special lechon sisig, which I found way too greasy. The gising-gising had a lot of chicken skin, which made it also greasy. We came from pampanga. So we were not really impressed by their buro. The BBQ skewers were the stars of the evening, very delicious. The cocktails were good. The service is super slow, where the drinks came at the same time as the food. We had to order way in advance for frinks, because we knew it will come 10 to 15 minutes later.

love Alamat! The staff were all super friendly, attentive, warm, and polite. I honestly thought the pares quesadillas sounded a bit odd at first, but wow, they were so good! Ill definitely come back for that one. The cocktails are reasonably priced too. 💯 Would totally recommend this bar to anyone visiting Poblacion for the first time!

The Curator is my go-to! Last Saturday night, I brought my balikbayan cousin here, and she was blown away by the unique cocktails. Super sulit! They really know their stuff, and the ambiance is perfect for a chill night.

Here's the deal: they have a secret menu, just ask the bartender nicely! Also, try to come before 9 PM on weekends to snag a good spot. Parking can be a pain, so I usually just Grab there.

It's an interesting place. I love speakeasies and this place was one of the top list place to visit for speakeasy in Manila. I came with my friend. They serve coffee by the day and cocktail by night which is a cool concept. We arrived slightly early so we ordered non alcoholic drink until they were ready. The menu was so cute and creative! I wanted to order all of it lol they have the story behind all drinks on how it was inspired. I wanted to get something different so I asked for recommendations. I didn't like the first drink so I asked if I can get a different drink and they were nice to exchange the drink. I wasn't charge for that. Great service, location, drinks, and fun idea. Highly recommend!

🍴 Any wine flight, plus the cheese platter ✨ Relaxed, social, rooftop 🏆 Extensive wine selection with a rooftop vibe

Dr. Wine is my go-to for a chill night with friends. They have a grabe selection of wines, and the rooftop is perfect for people-watching. I always recommend their cheese platter to pair with your drinks!

💡
Insider Tip

Pro-tip: they often have wine tasting events, so check their Instagram. The rooftop can get hot, so go later in the evening. If you're a big group, book a table in advance!

Dr. Wine in Poblacion, Makati is an excellent spot for food and friends gatherings. I tried their tapas and sangrias, and everything was very enjoyable. On my first visit it was raining, so I sat by the counter. The bartenders were friendly, chatty, and made the experience even enjoyable. I also took advantage of their happy hour sangria 2x1, which is a great deal. They have a rooftop with a beautiful view of the Manila skyline and Rockwell, which I highly recommend checking out, especially on a clear evening. The music was good and lively, but not overpowering, you can still comfortably have a conversation. Overall, a great atmosphere, good drinks, and a place I recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Dr. Wine Población was the first branch of the brand. While the place itself looks great, its menu differs from the BGC branch — and unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. I came specifically for their burger, seafood bisque, and octopus, but none of these were available on the menu. What we ordered: • Steak Tartar: As good as their BGC branch. 5/5 • Mussels: A bit plain and lacked excitement. 3/5 • Foie Gras: Good, though I still prefer the one from their BGC brunch. • Gambas: It was fine, but the addition of star anise didn’t really enhance the flavor. 3/5 Atmosphere: The place looks really nice, especially for evening drinks. Service: Service was good, although the waiter seemed a bit too eager to clear the dishes — perhaps because we were the only diners at the time. 4/5 Overall Rating: 3/5 — If the menu had been the same as the BGC branch, this would easily be a 5/5.

Service was really great. Walked in, tables are full and the second level was still closed, we were allowed to sit in a reserved and prepared area which we really appreciated. The place is very moody and cozy. The food however wasn’t the best out there. Was expecting for escargot in a shell but was instead served escargot on a platter - it was a bit rubbery and bland. The prawn pasta was salty but the noodles were cooked nicely. The other dishes we had were also just ok.

Tipsy Pig in BGC is simply outstanding, earning a solid five stars! My recent visit confirmed its reputation as a premier resto bar. The culinary experience was perfect every dish we ordered was flavorful, well prepared, and hit the mark. It's clear the kitchen takes immense pride in their offerings. Beyond the incredible food, the drinks menu is a major highlight. We went through a significant portion of their list, and without exception, every single drink was excellent. From the signature cocktails to the classics, the quality and execution were top notch. If you're looking for a place with fantastic ambiance, exceptional food, and a drink list that will keep you happy all night, Tipsy Pig BGC is the place to be. Highly, highly recommended!

The food was outstanding, and the Negroni was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. However, the service left room for improvement. Despite spending over 6K on dinner and drinks, there was a noticeable lack of table maintenance. I had to repeatedly call the attention of the staff just to have the table cleared and cleaned. While the culinary experience was exceptional, I believe the service should match the same high standard.

For oysters, the fresh and the baked ones are the most delicious. I like asking for salt with some chili to give the fresh oysters a kick. For me, it’s the best oyster place in the metro- especially their baked oysters. Sarap. But what we would enjoy most are the small clams plus those ones are affordable (like 300+). It regulates our oyster eating speed lol. The Sake bomb for drinks is also nice and fun. The cocktails are just okay.

This restaurant is fantastic in every aspect. The quality of the food and service both times we’ve visited was phenomenal. When we entered, we were greeted warmly by Kat, who was so charming and warm. Our servers Mark and Fatima were very attentive and handled all of our unusual requests with grace. The food was phenomenal. We regretted not being able to finish everything because we ordered too much. The chef has created a very unique menu with a lot of creativity. I’ve already mentioned this restaurants to many of my friends and we will definitely visit again when we return to Manila.
